To strengthen the bonds between people who came from other countries or regions and live in Videira, the 4th Chica Pelega Festival held the Migration Festival, on Sunday, March 15, starting at 4 p.m., at Bar do Melleck — with a Contestado-related concert followed by an open-air film screening at 7 p.m.

Jorge Gonçalves and Igor Manfroi performed songs from the album “Conversa de Boi”, bringing together songbooks, stories and the poetry of the region. The project blends the culture of the Contestado with stories of caboclos who speak about their realities, about revolt and resistance in the face of injustice, and who celebrate the strength of human unity.

Congolese musician H14 le Bizard was also present, reinforcing the meeting of cultures that sets the tone of the festival.
