In the Cerrado, where drought is never absence, Océane tries to cross a desert made not of sand but of stares, erasure, doubts, and silences. She arrived from Benin carrying the memory of water — source of life and of memory. Amid the turbulence of Goiânia and the continent she came from, she learned to resist. She writes a letter to her grandmother, seeking to reconcile what remained and what flourished during this journey.
