The documentary briefly tells the story of the quilombolas of Invernada dos Negros in Campos Novos, shows aspects of their culture, and above all recounts the struggles for access to territory and education. It was produced soon after the school used for quilombola education in Invernada dos Negros was arbitrarily demolished with all of the students’ materials inside.
