The Guarani people’s sensitivity in educating children remains alive despite the influences of contemporary society. But the paths and efforts of the spiritual leaders and indigenous teachers are marked by dilemmas, searches, encounters, and mismatches. This record, filmed entirely in Guarani at the Yynn Moroti Wherá village in Biguaçu, Santa Catarina, southern Brazil, proves it: spirituality, simplicity, and truth are words that translate “the light” of the Guarani in their process of education.
