The film briefly portrays the struggle of the remnants of the Campo dos Poli quilombo in Fraiburgo (SC). Cristiane Goulart is quilombola and shares memories of her grandparents and of the family with the taking of the territory; her partner, Alessandro Pereira, adds by exposing the situation of quilombola education and the challenges they face. Besides the couple, João Carlos Rodrigues, a member of APAFEC, contributes his thoughts on the struggle. The film was made from the workshop “O minuto que foi,” led by Yasser González as part of the program of the 3rd Chica Pelega Film Festival — quilombola edition.
