The project “Ritmo Contestado” was launched in March 2022, the result of the EP of the same name and of the documentary series that explains the project’s inspiration in the backland conflict of the Contestado, which took place between 1912 and 1916 in southern Brazil. The audiovisual production with the students was a partnership between the project and the band, responsible for the artwork. It is an audiovisual portrait of learning about the Contestado movement, an event that occurred in the region where the students involved in the project live.
